The paper models available for download have recently received some public notice at the Western Ship Model Conference. David Okamura had downloaded the paper models and was very impressed. He had conversed with me a few times to let me know how much he enjoyed them and that he entered them in the show.

     David wrote: "As I mentioned earlier, your models were quite popular at the Western Ship Model Conference and Exhibit.  I thought you might want to see what they looked like in my display.  Thanks for designing these wonderful models and making them available.  I talked to two teachers during the show, and they thought that paper boat models would be an ideal project for their students (one deals with developmentally disabled kids, and they have really shown improvements through this hobby).

    It is a good feeling to know that people are enjoying these models, and of course, this is some good advertising for the BYYB and the Stevensons since the websites are printed on the hull of each boat.
