BYYB News

Y2K has come and gone and there were no big problems. This is really good news since the BYYB is based online. In 1999 the BYYB was created, a constitution forged, by several people who were interested in getting as many people together as they could to have some fun and show off their hard work.
The BYYB is still in its infant stages but growing every day. This first collaborative issue of the Gaff Rig is a fine example of what’s to come in the future. Soon to follow will be the Merchandise page where it will be possible to order extra t-shirts and other such logo bearing items.
Memberships and merchandise can now be put on your credit card by simply signing up for a Pay Pal account. The service is free and is useful for many things besides the BYYB. If you sign up now you will receive $5 in your account plus $5 will go to the BYYB. A win win situation. To sign up for Pay Pal use this link: https://secure.paypal.com/refer/pal=sailor138%40netzero.net
Once you sign up the $5 will automatically go to each account, no further action needs to be taken. When using Pay Pal for a Membership or merchandise use Joes email (marxguy@concentric.net) and be sure to tell him what its for, so he can keep his records straight. More details will be posted on the BYYB Home Page, and on the membership sign up page.
After several posts on the bulletin board inquiring about plans for building a trailer, the Stevenson’s have announced they will be re-printing their trailer plans and will announce on the BBS when they are available for purchase.
The number of people posting messages on the bulletin board shows that these boats are being built by a lot of people. The will come when these people will be ready to set sail, and the sure to be legendary BYYB regattas will be underway. The BYYB is going to keep growing, and the more people that join the more fun it will be. Sign up today! (Or tomorrow if you’re too busy building your boat.)
